Summary
The story begins when Andy Dufresne, a young and successful banker, changes his life forever. Accused of the murder of his wife and her secret love, he is sent for a lifetime sentence to Shawshank Prison.

At first, Andy has troubles adapting to his new life in prison. Being different than most inmates, he has problems finding friends to socialize with.

Eventually, he gains respect from his fellow inmates and meets a friend (Red) which will be crucial to his life development in prison. With the help of Red, he becomes a very influential inmate.

Andy lives his life in prison on hope and imagination which leads to a story filled with very unconventional fantasy & dreams

Summary
The head of the New York Mafia family, Don Vito Corleone is preparing his daughter’s (Connie) wedding. Coming back from the war just in time for his sister’s wedding, Corleone’s son Michael realizes what the family’s business is and refuses to have anything to do with it, wanting to live a normal life.

The Corleone’s family business, like the head of it (Vito) is kind to people who respect the family but those who stand against the family are ruthlessly violated. As Don Vito continues to live the old way, times are Changing.

Virgil Sollozzo, a New-York drug dealer, was seeking protection from the Corleones family, offering them part of his drug selling profits. As the Don is against drugs, he refuses to protect him. Offended by the Don’s refusal to help, Sollozzo get him shot but he doesn’t die.

Michael, protecting his father, starts a brutal war against Sollozzo which tears the Corleone family apart.
